The Mode edition bottle is the 2011 end-of-the-year edition.
The French Mode is slightly different than the regular Mode. The text between Absolut and Vodka on the tissue label is different. On the French one, the words “Mode edition” are replaced by “Limited edition”. It’s due to a French law called Evin law, that regulates advertisements for Alcohol and cigarettes. Judging from this law, it’s forbidden to associate the word “Mode” with alcohol.
A redesign of the iconic Absolut bottle, Absolut Mode reflects the world of fashion through twelve facets, wrapped with a band in midnight blue silk cloth with text embroidery.
